I want to thank Brother Robert Johnson, host of the Whence came you podcast in featuring my piece “Broken columns”. I am so humbled not only by Robert reading my piece on the air but for the praise the story has received.
I have a lot of fond memories of that lodge and it broke my heart when I heard the current members had turned in the charter. I know it couldn’t have been an easy decision for them. I just hope those who read the piece will learn from our mistakes and not repeat them.
