Scottish Rite NMJ announces Initiative in response to COVID-19

As I said recently on the podcast Meet, Act and Part Freemasonry doesn’t just survive during times of adversity, it THRIVES!.  This terrible virus has affected us in so many ways, from the loss of a loved one to the loss of one’s livelihood.   No matter what happens it is easy to say none of us will be the same as we advance into the future as we were just a few month ago.

Many Masons and Masonic organizations have stepped up to the plate and done what they can to not only fulfill their Masonic obligations but to help their fellow man as well.  From the Shriners passing out food to stranded truck drivers to lodges feeding front line workers to help make their lives a bit easier to just individual Masons checking on each other and the widows of their fallen members to ensure they wanted for nothing.

In this spirit The Scottish Rite Northern Masonic Jurisdiction  has began an initiative as an extension of their Grand almoners fund to help Masons who are suffering fro the aftermaths of the pandemic called   Helping Hand Initiative.

The goal of this campaign is to raise $100,000.00 to help, aid and assist brethren in their time if need.  The rite has built a website where you can make your contributors to this intuitive.  To make a donation or to learn more about the campaign click on this link.
