Reclaiming the Soul of Freemasonry

The Scottish Rite of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction has been hinting on social media that changes in the bodies philosophy were to come this fall. Today I have discovered that the Rite has published a new book entitled “Reclaiming the Soul of Freemasonry” written by John “Bill” McNaughton, Past Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite, NMJ,

The book claims to “Present the results of the most comprehensive study of Freemasonry and the Scottish Rite conducted in more than 20 years.” It also says  “Commander McNaughton presents survey and research findings that quantify the problems facing the fraternity and ways to address our most serious issues. ”

The book is based on data taken from 1000 men and their opinions and feelings about Freemasonry and topics within the Craft and what Scottish Rite members want to see in the rite going forward.

The cost of the book is $24.94 and the proceeds  will go to the Scottish Rite’s Grand Almoners fund. You can find the book on NMJ shop’s website
