In an email to the membership Imperial Potentate Jim Cain announced the resignation of Imperial Recorder Randy Rudge. Imperial Sire Cain has appointed Past Imperial Potentate Charles A. “Tad” Claypool to fill the vacant position for two weeks until the 145 Imperial sessions which will be held in Nashville June 30th to July 4th, 2019. It was also stated that Imperial Sir Claypool will not be a candidate for Imperial recorder during the sessions and will not receive compensation while serving as Imperial Recorder.
Claypool who served as Imperial Potentate from 2002-2003 and according to the email that Claypool “ also served three terms as Trustee for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Claypool has raised a Master Mason at Rock Moriah Lodge #740 in 1970, is a 33rd-degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the York Rite. Claypool joined Antioch Shriners in 1970, and he served as the temple’s Potentate in 1990. Noble Claypool, a practicing attorney, previously served as Imperial Recorder, on an interim basis, following the passing of Imperial Sir Jack Jones in 2017. ”
