This Saturday, June 24th 2017 marks the three hundredth anniversary of Modern, Grand lodge style Freemasonry when representatives of individual lodges met at the Goose and Gridiron tavern in London to celebrate Saint John the Baptist day and form the Grand Lodge of England.
In honor of such an historic event the Knights of The Masonic Roundtable have gathered in Arlington, Virginia at the The George Washington Masonic National Memorial for a weekend of Masonic education and celebration.
Knights Robert Johnson, Jason Richards, Juan Sepúlveda, Jon Ruark and Nick Johnson will host such noted speakers as Bro:. Steven L. Harrison 33˚, Mike Hambrecht and Angel Millar on various topics of Masonic instruction.
Also in this weekend of festivities includes a tour of the Scottish Rite headquarters at the House of the Temple in Washington, a vendors area with many purveyors of Masonic goods. the celebration will be capped off with an festive board followed by an afterglow.
