At best in most cases, these endeavors will break even. Masonic organizations are looking for new and better ways of raising money for their lodges and charity endeavors.
One lodge in Milford, Massachusetts began to grind and sell their own brand of coffee as a fundraiser called Brothers blend coffee. Now the Shriners have thrown their fez into the coffee business.
According to the news release ” Rise and shine coffee is a new specialty blend coffee that helps support the health care system. With every 1-pound bag purchased of this medium roast, smooth and hearty blend of freshly roasted Arabica beans, $1 will be donated to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
