Masonic relief for Texas

A message from the Masters, Wardens and Secretaries Association District 14 from North Texas has posted this plea for funds going to Masonic Relief:

“The 14th District MWSA is taking contributions on behalf of the Masonic Bodies of North Texas to contribute to the relief of Hurricane Harvey victims.  We are focusing funds on fresh bottled water initiatives for those that have been displaced from Houston and will be taking refuge in the shelters in Dallas.  We have secured “at cost” pricing for pallets of water and aim to buy as many pallets as possible to ship down to those in need in South East Texas.  Many Lodges and Masonic Bodies around the metroplex have already contributed, but we hope we have your support as well.  We thank you in advance for your charity in this time of need.

Please contribute any amount that you feel appropriate and within your cable tow by using these PayPal links.  Thank you in advance for your contribution.” Click this link to donate

The Masonic Service Association of North America  has posted on their website:

Hurricane Damage in Texas Being Evaluated

The Masonic Service Association has been in touch with Grand Master Jerry N. Kirby of the Grand Lodge of Texas. MSA is ready to issue a Disaster Relief Appeal when and if the Grand Master decides there is a need that the Grand Lodge feels is too large to handle without outside support.

At the present time he is evaluating the damage in the greater Houston area. Communication with Masons and Lodges is difficult. If the Grand Master desires MSA to issue an appeal, it will be sent to other Grand Jurisdictions, posted on the msana.com website, and the MSA Facebook Page and Group.

Any donations received by MSA and designated for Texas will be collected and forwarded to that jurisdiction. Thank you for your concern.
